Two Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Cedar Avenue [Fresno, CA]

Fresno, CA (September 03, 2021) – On Thursday, a woman in her 60s and a rider suffered injuries in a motorcycle crash on Cedar Avenue.

The traffic crash took place at about 8:30 p.m. south of Shaw Avenue.

Investigating officers said the woman was struck by the motorcyclist as she crosses the intersection. 

As a result, the victim suffered a head injury. Rescuers rushed her to a hospital.

Meanwhile, the motorcyclist returned to the accident scene shortly after it happened. 

However, the male motorcyclist in his 20s had fallen off his bike in the crash. The man incurred minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. 

The motorcyclist said the woman walked out in front of his motorcycle.

Meanwhile, the officers said drugs and alcohol are not suspected in this incident. They said the area is very dark and the lack of visibility could cause the motorcycle crash on Cedar Avenue. Officers also said that there is no crosswalk in the location.
