2 Hospitalized after Modesto Motorcycle Accident
MODESTO, CA (April 24, 2019) – Two people suffered injuries after crashing their small motorcycle to a car on April 22 in Modesto.
According to reports, the crash happened just after 10:30 p.m. A man and a woman riding a 50cc cycle didn’t yield to the stop sign on Helen Avenue. They eventually crashed into a car traveling on Sunrise Avenue.
Lt. Jason Grogan revealed that they haven’t identified who drove the motorcycle and the passenger. The two riders reportedly didn’t wear a helmet during the crash.
As a result, the woman sustained major, possibly life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the man suffered moderate injuries. Medical responders transported the two to a local hospital for treatment.
Grogan added that the driver of the vehicle didn’t suffer any injuries.
The MPD traffic currently investigates the crash.
