2 Hospitalized after Head-On Crash on Sellers Avenue near Church Road

 
BRENTWOOD, CA (October 19, 2019) – Two people suffered injuries in a head-on crash on Sellers Avenue, Saturday evening.
 
According to East Contra Costa Fire Protection District officials, the incident happened at about 8:32 PM. Due to unknown reasons, two vehicles collided head-on near Church Road.
 
Emergency responders had to extricate one person from a vehicle and airlifted the victim to John Muir Medical Center Walnut Creek. Meanwhile, a ground ambulance transported another victim to a nearby hospital. Updates on the victims’ current conditions remain unknown.
 
The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the collision. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
