Two Hospitalized in DUI Collision in San Jose
SAN JOSE, CA (January 5, 2018) – Early Saturday morning, two people were injured after a DUI accident on 101 Freeway. The identity of the occupants have not yet been released to the public.
According to officers, the incident occurred near McKee Road around 12:55 AM. As per reports, two-vehicles were involved in the collision, with one car that caught on fire
Firefighters arrived at the scene, worked to extinguish the fire and treated at least one person. The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and evaluation.
Authorities stated, another individual who is a suspect for driving under the influence, was taken into custody and transported to a nearby hospital for medical clearance. His current condition has not been disclosed.
No further details have been disclosed, as the investigation continues. The cause of the accident is currently unknown.
