Border Patrol Agent Injured in Centre City Parkway Crash in Escondido
ESCONDIDO, CA ( November 15, 2019) — Two people, including a border patrol agent, sustained injuries in a Centre City Parkway crash in North County on Tuesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened at the Centre City Parkway on-ramp at around 8:30 a.m.
A man driving a sedan rear-ended a Border Patrol SUV, knocking it off-balance and making it roll on its side. Emergency personnel took the man to the hospital for minor injuries. Meanwhile, the agent was in some pain and evaluated on the roadside for minor injuries.
The authorities reopened the on-ramp at around 10:00 a.m. after a brief shutdown.
