Two Injured in Big Rig Crash on Highway 101 [Sonoma County, CA]

Sonoma County, CA (July 16, 2022) – On Friday morning, two people sustained injuries in a big rig crash on Highway 101.

The authorities received the crash report at about 7:36 a.m. near the Sonoma-Marin county line.

According to the investigators, a Honda Civic driver traveling north lost control of the vehicle and struck the center median. The vehicle ricocheted into the middle of the roadway. 

Moreover, a Freightliner truck tried to swerve out of the way to avoid the collision. However, his vehicle rear-ended the Honda and overturned.

The paramedics rushed the big rig and Honda drivers to a hospital with minor injuries.
