Wrong-Way Driving Causes Collision near Vista Village Drive
PARADISE, CA (August 23, 2018) – Two people were hurt early Wednesday afternoon, following a wrong-way crash on Skyway Crossroad Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 12:25 PM, near Vista Village Drive.
The incident occurred when an RV drove the wrong way, forcing a Honda Accord to veer off of the road and crash into a large rock. A female driver and passenger sustained minor injuries, but chose not to go to the hospital.
The RV driver stated that he forgot that the road only had one-way of traffic and started driving eastbound on the road, against traffic. No arrests have been made at this time. The incident stopped traffic on Skyway Crossroad Road for about 10 minutes. CHP was at the scene investigating, and no further details were immediately available to the public.
