Minor Injuries Sustained in Santa Barbara Two-Car Accident on State Street
SANTA BARBARA, CA (December 28, 2018) – Two people sustained injuries in a rollover crash in downtown Santa Barbara on Monday, December 24.
According to Battalion Chief Jim McCoy of the Santa Barbara City Fire Department, the two-vehicle collision occurred just before 11 a.m. at State Street and Haley Street.
The accident involved a Kia SUV and a Chevy Tahoe, with the latter rolled over on its roof.
Two occupants of the Tahoe suffered minor injuries and were not taken to the hospital, McCoy stated.
Roadways in the area were closed for approximately 30 minutes after the incident.
The crash was under investigation by the Santa Barbara Police Department.
