Injury in I-405 Multi-Vehicle Crash
Irvine, CA (May 01, 2022) – On Sunday morning, two people sustained injuries in a DUI crash on Interstate 405.
The authorities received the crash report at about 1:47 a.m. at Jamboree Road.
When the officers arrived at the crash scene, they found a white Toyota Tacoma, a black Mercedes Benz SUV, and a blue Toyota Mirai that was stopped in lanes. Officers say these vehicles were involved in the collision.
According to the investigators, a grey BMW SUV struck the 2020 Toyota Mirai. Then, the white Toyota Corolla crashed with debris from the incident and also struck the 2020 Toyota Mirai.
Right away, the paramedics rushed at least two people to an area hospital.
Reports said five vehicles sustained damages at the incident.
The authorities are investigating the Toyota Mirai for possible DUI.
