Four Vehicles Involved in Collision near Lone Tree Way
ANTIOCH, CA (March 12, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized after a multi-car crash on eastbound Highway 4, Tuesday morning.
According to CHP, the collision took place at 7:00 AM near Lone Tree Way. Based on an initial report, four vehicles were involved in the incident. In addition, the cars were a red Toyota pickup truck, a silver Nissan Altima, and a red Toyota Prius.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. In addition, they confirmed that two people got injured in the pileup.
One was sent to Kaiser Antioch Medical Center, while another was sent to Sutter Delta Medical Center Birth Center. Both suffered minor injuries.
The No. 1 and 2 lanes were closed while rescue, clearing and cleaning operations took place in the area. The cause of the pile-up is currently under investigation, and additional information will be disclosed to the public, once it becomes available.
