Woman and 5-Year-Old Girl Struck and Injured by Vehicle near Emerald Street
TORRANCE, CA (January 14, 2020) – Two people were hospitalized Tuesday morning after a pedestrian crash on Earl Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Emerald Street at approximately 8:40 AM.
Reports from the Torrance police said that the victims, a woman and a 5-year-old girl, were struck by a vehicle while crossing the street.
The woman suffered major injuries, while the girl sustained moderate injuries. Both victims were taken to the hospital for further treatment.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
