Two Drivers Killed in Head-On Collision on Highway 138 [Lancaster, CA]

Double Fatality after Two-Vehicle Crash near 150th Street West

 
LANCASTER, CA (October 29, 2018) – Two people were killed early Monday morning following a head-on collision on Highway 138. The identities of the victims are being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place at about 6:00 AM near 150th Street West. A 2002 Nissan Altima was heading east in the westbound lane when it collided head-on with a 2003 Ford.
 
Both drivers, the lone occupants of their vehicles, suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.
 
Alcohol and drugs were ruled out as possible contributing factors in the fatal crash, which remains under investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is encouraged to contact the authorities as soon as possible. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
