Anaheim, CA (February 22, 2022) – On Monday, at 12:10 a.m., two people lost their lives in a vehicle crash on Brookhurst Avenue.

Reports say the incident started when someone fired gunshots into the air outside the El Cangrejo Nice restaurant.

When the officers arrived, they saw an SUV speed away and they followed it. The SUV missed several red lights and slammed into a pole at the intersection with La Palma Avenue .

The SUV’s driver and passenger both died at the scene. Officers are still investigating if they were involved to the shooting.
