Two Fatally Hurt in Skull Valley Head-On Crash on Iron Springs Road

 
SKULL VALLEY, AZ (September 25, 2019) – Two people died after a head-on crash on Iron Springs Road on Tuesday, September 24.
 
The incident occurred on Iron Springs Road outside of Skull Valley shortly after 3 p.m.
 
The driver of a Chevrolet truck moved north toward Prescott. Then he went across the center lines and collided into a Toyota sedan, which was traveling south, deputies said.
 
The two occupants inside the Toyota succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
 
The man and his passenger in the truck sustained injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening, according to deputies.
 
The identities of the people involved were not yet available pending notification of next of kin, YCSO said.
 
An investigation is ongoing.
