Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in Collision Near Winters Street
SACRAMENTO, CA (September 18, 2019) – A two-car crash blocked the traffic on 80 Freeway westbound on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just east of Winters Street at approximately 3:15 PM. Based on a report, a gray Ford Mustang spun out of lanes and struck another vehicle before crashing into the center divider. A black female adult from the Ford was picked up by a sports car and left the scene.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report on any injury sustained by the involved motorists.
The fast lane remained closed while fire officials worked on a clearing operation in the area. However, officials will release additional details to the public once they are available.
