Two Vehicles Involved in Collision near South Del Rey Avenue

 
SANGER, CA (February 1, 2019) – Two people were airlifted after a crash on East Jensen Avenue, Friday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 6:20 PM, near the intersection of South Del Rey Avenue. Based on their report, there were two vehicles involved in the incident. The parties were identified as a silver Honda CRV and a Mercedes-Benz. One of the parties overturned and landed on the driver’s side.
 
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. Two people were flown to a nearby hospital for treatment. The victims suffered major injuries in the incident.
 
The east side of the scene was cleared to give way to the landing of the medical helicopter. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident. No other details were gathered as of report time. Additional information will be released once available.
