Two Cars Overturn in Crash on Highway 138 Near Pine Canyon Road
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (August 31, 2019) – Two people airlifted after a head-on crash on Highway 138 on Saturday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Pine Canyon Road at approximately 8:30 PM. Based on an initial report, two vehicles collided head-on. It was not yet clear if the accident was related to wrong-way driving. Due to the crash impact, both vehicles overturned in the lanes.
At least two people became trapped in the vehicles. The paramedics arrived for medical assistance. After that, they airlifted the victims to the hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
