Two Accidents Occur on 210 Freeway [Irwindale, CA]

Injuries and Damage Recorded in Collisions near Irwindale Avenue

IRWINDALE, CA (September 12, 2018) – Early Wednesday morning, two separate accidents occurred on the eastbound 210 Freeway.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collisions took place at approximately 5:45 AM, near Irwindale Avenue. The first incident accident involved two vehicles, while the second one was a solo-vehicle crash involved just one.

The car, which was identified as a black Kia, reportedly crashed against the guardrails on the highway, after it had struck a metal tool box that was thrown out to the roadway from the first collision.

Medics responded to the scene and recorded multiple minor injuries sustained in the crash. The condition of the involved motorists was not yet known, and it is unclear if anyone was hospitalized.

The roadway was closed for at least two hours to give way to clearing operation and a preliminary investigation by authorities. No other information regarding the cause of the initial collision has been released to the public at this time.
