Morning Two-Vehicle Wreck on 5 Freeway in Tustin, Complaint of Pain Reported
TUSTIN, CA (November 27, 2018) – One person was hurt following a two-vehicle collision Tuesday morning in Tustin, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened around 10:37 a.m. at the intersection of 5 Freeway and 55 Freeway.
CHP officials said that a black Toyota Camry and a gray Chevrolet Silverado collided for unknown reasons. The driver of the Chevrolet pickup truck complained of pain to the head after hitting it on the steering wheel.
Fire crews and emergency personnel responded to the scene to provide medical care to the patient. The extent of injuries sustained was not immediately known.
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages but towing services were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
A SigAlert was issued in the area for about 30 minutes while evidence from the scene was collected and photographed.
The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
