18-Year-Old Turner George Die in Rollover Crash on 271st Road [Johnson County, MO]

Teen Killed and Three Injured in Johnson County Pickup Truck Crash

Johnson County, MO (September 29, 2024) On Friday evening, 18-year-old Turner George of Warrensburg died and 3 others were hurt in a fatal rollover crash on 271st Road.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the deadly crash happened just before 9 p.m. on Southwest 271st Road north of Southwest 1200th Road.

Reports say that a fatal crash claimed the life of 18-year-old Turner R. George.

Authorities say that George was driving a 2004 Dodge pickup on Southwest 271st Road, near Southwest 1200th Road, when he lost control while accelerating through a curve.

The truck veered off the road, went into a ditch, overturned, and struck a fence.

Paramedics arrived on the scene and pronounced George dead. Three other teenage passengers sustained minor injuries but refused medical treatment.

Authorities transported George’s body to the Johnson County Coroner’s Office.
