Tucker Colby Dies, Jaimie Arce Arrested after DUI Crash on 51st Avenue and Union Hills Drive in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (July 31, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, 19-year-old Tucker Colby died, and two other people sustained injuries in a DUI crash on 51st Avenue and Union Hills Drive.

Subsequently, police arrested 33-year-old Jaimie Arce for driving under the influence.

Phoenix Police said Arce was heading south on 51st Avenue and ran a red light. She made a left turn onto Union Hills in front of four motorcycle riders going west on Union Hills Drive.

Colby died while the two other riders sustained injuries. The fourth rider was able to avoid the crash.

Investigators said the fatal collision involved three motorcycles.

Currently, Arce is booked in Maricopa County Jail.

Police continue to further investigate the circumstances of this crash.
