29-Year-Old Mother of Two Fatally Injured in Wrong-Way Collision on the 10th Street Bridge near Market Street

 
MARYSVILLE, CA (June 21, 2018) – A woman was killed in a wrong-way crash on 10th Street, early Thursday morning. The deceased victim was later identified by the coroner’s office as 29-year-old Trysha Graff.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place at approximately 1:00 AM on the 10th Street Bridge near Market Street.
 
John Xiong reportedly drove his pickup truck in the wrong way on the bridge between Marysville and Yuba City, and collided with Graff’s vehicle.
 
According to reports, Graff sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. Her passenger, Pablo Gutierrez, suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. He was listed in stable condition. Xiong also suffered injuries and was transported to a local hospital. He was later released.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the fatal collision, and no charges have been made at this time. No additional information has been released to the public.
 
A memorial account was set up at the Umpqua Bank at 700 E Street in Marysville, CA 95901. Donations can be made payable to the Trysha Graff Broken Chain Memorial Fund, and will be transitioned to a trust account for her two children.
