Reportedly, a fire truck hit a Dallas resident in a wheelchair Thursday morning, leading to the person being hospitalized. 

The accident occurred just before 10:30 a.m. near the Highland and Ferguson roads intersection in the White Rock area of Dallas. 

Dallas Fire-Rescue confirmed that one of its trucks struck the pedestrian. The injured individual was transported to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. 

The cause of the crash remains unclear, and DFR noted that the truck was not on an emergency run at the time.
