CHP Investigates Big Rig Crash on Interstate 880 in Oakland

Oakland, CA (December 30, 2022) – Friday morning, a truck driver sustained injuries in a crash on Interstate 880.

The crash in Oakland happened just before 2 a.m. on December 30.

CHP said the big rig flipped over and hit another car when it overturned.

A witness said the semi-driver was in the fast lane and was trying to get over to the third lane, but a car was already there. 

The semi-driver hit the car, which is now completely totaled.

One person was reportedly hurt. No other information is immediately available.
