Major Crash on Village Drive in Victorville Leaves Injuries, One Critical

 
Victorville, CA (November 9, 2020) – Monday evening, a truck driver was critically injured, and several others sustained injuries in a major crash on Village Drive and Calgo Lane.
 
The collision happened at about 4:20 p.m. on November 9.
 
Surveillance footage shows a black truck was exiting Brothers Liquor on Village Drive when a blue sedan struck it. The truck spin, ejecting the male driver.
 
Moreover, a witness says the man in the truck was pulling out of the liquor store parking lot and was struck by a car that was going down Village Drive from Mojave Drive. Adding the man was really in bad shape and was thrown far from his truck.
 
Meanwhile, the blue sedan partially up a curb and into a tire shop’s parking lot and sparked a flame. Nearby workers helped extinguished the fire.
 
Three ground ambulances then responded to the scene, and a helicopter was requested to land at Victor Valley Global Medical Center for the truck driver.
 
Furthermore, authorities shut down Village Drive between Mojave Drive and Tawney Ridge Lane while investigating.
 
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
