The incident happened at 8:50 p.m. on State Route 99 near Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard off-ramp. According to reports, a tractor-trailer truck heading north hit a pedestrian.

As a result, the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries.

Meanwhile, the crash shut down the slow lane of the highway and the off-ramp for around two hours.
