Nespelem, WA (November 16, 2024) On Wednesday evening, 26-year-old Tristan McCrea of Nespelem, was hurt after a hit-and-run crash on State Route 155.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the motorcycle crash happened three miles south of Nespelem on State Route 155.

Reports say that the injury hit-and-run crash occurred on November 6, at around 11:00 p.m. officials say that a 2006 Suzuki Verona traveling northbound lost control, veering off the roadway onto the southbound shoulder. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its roof.

The driver fled the scene on foot, leaving their identity unknown. However, the vehicle’s passenger, Tristan M. McCrea sustained injuries and was transported to Coulee Medical Center for treatment.

It is unclear whether either occupant was wearing a seatbelt or if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. The Washington State Patrol has urged anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues. The Suzuki Verona was declared a total loss.
