Tricone Sanford Dies in Avenue M Vehicle Crash [Palmdale, CA]

Palmdale, CA (September 02, 2021) – On Tuesday, 44-year-old Tricone Sanford of Lancaster, died in a vehicle crash on Avenue M.

The fatal crash took place at about 11:11 a.m. east of 30th Street East, wherein three vehicles were involved.

Apparently, a 1998 Chevy Suburban driven by Sanford was eastbound in the number two lane of Avenue M and drifted into the number one eastbound lane. That is when it crashed into a 2013 Ford Fiesta. 

Both vehicles swerved into the westbound lanes of Avenue M. They were both struck by a semi-truck transporting two trailers of hay.

Officers pronounced Sanford dead at the scene. 

On the other hand, responders took the Ford to the hospital with moderate injuries.
