Fatal Accident on Tracy Boulevard On-ramp Leaves Treyvon Breckenridge and Donald Edwards Dead
Tracy, CA (September 21, 2020) – A crash on Tracy Boulevard and the on-ramp to Highway 205 killed Treyvon Breckenridge, 17, and Donald Edwards, 19.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash. It happened at 8 p.m. on September 18.
At this time, officers revealed that the driver seemed to have lost control of the car. It then crashed with a tree on the on-ramp.
Authorities identified the vehicle as one previously at large after an officer tried to pull the driver earlier in the night.
A chase ensued, but the officer lost sight of the vehicle. It was later that authorities realized it was the same vehicle searched for in the earlier pursuit.
The victims’ names were released Monday. Among the four killed were two 17-year-old Patterson High School students, Kaya Durazo and Ayana Guardado, as well as Treyvon Breckenridge, 17, and Donald Edwards, 19.
With heavy hearts, we at Sweet Lawyers wish comfort and peace to those mourning the deaths of the four victims, including Treyvon Breckenridge and Donald Edwards.
