Pedestrian Injured in Butler County Collision
Butler County, MO (July 30, 2024) – 33-year-old Trevor Young of Wappapello was injured in a MO 53 pedestrian accident Monday morning.
It was before 7 a.m. on July 29 when the traffic accident happened 6 miles south of Poplar Bluff.
Investigators said Young was hit by a southbound a pickup truck while walking along the shoulder of the highway.
Young sustained serious injuries and was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
The pickup truck driver, 44-year-old Keith Willcut of Fairdealing was not hurt in the accident, but, his vehicle was moderately damaged.
