Vehicle Struck and Killed Travis Lee James in Indian School Road Pedestrian Accident

 
Phoenix, AZ (July 10, 2020)– A pedestrian accident near First Avenue and Indian School Road killed Travis Lee James on Thursday.
 
Phoenix Police responded to the scene at the intersection of First Avenue and Indian School Road on July 9. According to the report, the collision ended with one fatal victim identified as 32-year-old Travis Lee James.
 
Reports said that a van fatally struck James, as he was not in the crosswalk during the incident. The driver of the van told the police that he did not notice James on the road.
 
Due to the extent of the collision, the traffic was closed on Indian School from Third Avenue to Central.
 
Furthermore, the road closure is expected to last for several hours for the investigation.
