DALLAS, TX (January 10, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a tragic wrong-way crash on RL Thornton Freeway near Camp Wisdom Road killed two people.

The incident happened at around 1:35 a.m. on RL Thornton Freeway near Camp Wisdom Road.

According to the Dallas Police, a southbound pickup truck traveling in the northbound lanes collided with a northbound car. Then, the force of the crash pushed the northbound car to strike a northbound flatbed truck.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the driver of the car and the driver of the pickup truck both died in the incident. Then, paramedics transported a female passenger of the car to a hospital with unknown injuries. Also, the driver of the flatbed truck sustained no injuries in the collision.
