Tragic Wrong-Way Crash on Highway 90 Kills 2 [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (June 17, 2023) On Saturday morning, 2 motorists were killed in a wrong-way crash on Highway 90.

According to the SAPD, the fatal head-on collision on the west-bound lanes of Highway 90 near Loop 1604 around 12:30 a.m.

Reports say that an eastbound driver was travelling on the westbound lanes, then a female driver collided head-on with the wrong-way driver.

Both drivers were trapped in the wreck and rescuers used the jaws of life to cut both drivers out of their cars. Both patients were transported to a hospital, were both later succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced dead.

SAPD is investigating the fatal head-on collision and have not released additional information at this time.
