Tragic Vehicle Collision on Highway 17 Kills 2 [Campbell, CA]

Campbell, CA (May 27, 2023) On Friday morning, a man and a woman died after a tragic vehicle collision on Highway 17.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the disastrous crash happened around 4:10 a.m. on southbound Highway 17, north of Hamilton Avenue.

Reports say that a vehicle attempted to avoid a stalled Mercedes in one of the southbound lanes of Highway 17, however, the vehicle struck a man and a woman standing near the Mercedes.

Officials pronounced the man dead at the scene, while the woman was transported to a hospital, where she died.

Authorities are investigating the disastrous crash and have not released additional information at this time.
