2 People Dead in Vacaville Auto Accident on State Route 20 near Witter Springs Road

VACAVILLE, CA (February 13, 2024) – On Monday, a tragic two-vehicle crash on State Route 20 near Witter Springs Road killed two people.

The incident happened on State Route 20, east of Witter Springs Road.

According to reports, a 2000 Nissan Frontier steered across the opposing lane to pass another vehicle and collided head-on with a 2011 Toyota Prius.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the driver of the Prius and a passenger of the Nissan died in the crash. Then, paramedics transported the male driver of the Nissan and another passenger of the vehicle to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, officers arrested the driver of the Nissan for DUI.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
