1 Person Dead in Austin Auto Accident on Research Boulevard and West Braker Lane

AUSTIN, TX (May 29, 2024) – Early Tuesday morning, a tragic two-vehicle crash on Research Boulevard and West Braker Lane killed one person.

The incident happened just after midnight on Research Boulevard and West Braker Lane.

According to the Austin Police Department, a white vehicle that was believed to be traveling on the wrong side collided with another vehicle.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that a woman died in the crash. Then, paramedics airlifted a man to a hospital, while three children were transported via ambulance with minor injuries. Also, officers said that the wrong-way driver sustained minor injuries in the incident.

Furthermore, the crash closed the roadway, but has long since reopened.
