1 Person Dead in Petaluma Auto Accident on Lakeville Highway and Pine View Way

PETALUMA, CA (February 3, 2024) – Thursday afternoon, a tragic two-vehicle crash on Lakeville Highway and Pine View Way killed one person.

The incident happened at around 12:37 p.m. on Lakeville Highway at Pine View Way.

According to the Petaluma Police Department, an eastbound sedan collided with a westbound SUV for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the 79-year-old female driver of the SUV died in the collision. Then, paramedics transported the 29-year-old male driver of the sedan to a hospital with minor injuries.

Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
