OAKLAND, CA (September 1, 2024) – Thursday night, a tragic two-vehicle crash on Highway 580 near 106th Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened around 11:27 p.m. on westbound Interstate Highway 580, near the 106th Avenue on-ramp.

According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided in the area for unknown reasons.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that one person died in the crash.

Furthermore, the crash closed three lanes of Highway 580 but has long since reopened.
