1 Person Dead in Tyler Traffic Accident on E Main Street and Quail Ridge Road

TYLER, TX (November 2, 2023) – Monday night, a tragic two-vehicle crash on E Main Street and Quail Ridge Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 7:00 p.m. in the 4500 block of E. Main Street and Quail Ridge Road.

According to the Nacogdoches Police Department, a Ford F-250 pulling a trailer with a car on it rear-ended an eastbound Dodge pick. Then, the force of the crash pushed both vehicles to leave the road.

Moreover, responders rushed the 13-year-old front-side passenger of the Dodge to a hospital where the patient was later pronounced dead. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the Dodge and a teen rear passenger of the vehicle to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Also, officers airlifted a third teen passenger of the Dodge to Tyler Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Nacogdoches Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
