1 Person Dead in Lancaster Auto Accident near 10th Street West and Avenue L

LANCASTER, CA (October 9, 2023) – Sunday morning, a tragic two-vehicle crash near 10th Street West and Avenue L killed one person.

The incident happened at around 6:25 a.m. near the intersection of 10th Street West and Avenue L.

According to Detective Jorge Diaz of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lancaster station, an eastbound Jeep collided with a southbound Chevrolet sedan for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders pronounced a female passenger of the sedan, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
