Chula Vista, CA (December 1, 2023) On Wednesday evening, a pedestrian lost their life after a tragic traffic crash on Bonita Road.

According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the auto-pedestrian collision happened at a parking lot of Starbucks, located at 3047 Bonita Road, at around 7:50 p.m.

Reports say that a vehicle hits and injures a pedestrian. Medics rushed the patient to UCSD Hillcrest Hospital, where the victim died of their injuries and declared dead at the hospital.

Authorities say that the vehicle was driven by a 75-year-old driver, the driver stayed at the scene and fully cooperated with investigators.
