Lakewood, WA (March 21, 2024) On Tuesday evening, a person was killed and another suffered life-threatening injuries in a horrific traffic collision on Interstate 5.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the traffic accident happened at about 6 p.m. on northbound Interstate 5, under an overpass at 47th Avenue.

Reports say that the fatal crash involved a semi-truck. Officials pronounced a person dead at the scene, while another person suffered life-threatening injuries.
