Tragic Traffic Collision on Interstate 10 Kills Woman [Harris County, TX]

Harris County, TX (April 16, 2023) On Saturday morning, a traffic collision on Interstate 10 led to the death of a female driver.

HCSO says that the fatal 3-vehicle crash happened around 5:30 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of I-10 near Channelview.

Reports say that a vehicle struck another vehicle driving slowly in between one of the lanes. After the collision, the woman driving said vehicle got out of her vehicle and was subsequently struck by a different car.

Authorities pronounced the woman dead at the scene. Meanwhile, no other parties were injured due to the crash, and both drivers stayed at the scene and cooperated with officials.

The fatal traffic collision blocked all eastbound lanes of I-10 and has since been reopened just before 10 a.m.
