NORTH COUNTY, CA (April 24, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, a tragic three-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 near State Route 76 killed 2 people, including an infant.

The crash involving at least three vehicles happened o Interstate 15 near State Route 76 in the Fallbrook area.

California Highway Patrol and North County Fire Protection District Capt. John Choi revealed that two people died at the scene.

Then, responders took four other people o hospitals for treatment.

Also, one of them suffered major injuries and the three others sustained minor injuries.

Due to the crash, the authorities closed all southbound lanes of the freeway. Meanwhile, the slow lane reopened just before 5 p.m., with traffic backed up to Rainbow Valley Boulevard.

Witnesses revealed that the crash involved a Toyota Tacoma, a Tesla Model 3, and a Kia Forte.

Then, at least one of the vehicles rolled over and landed on its roof.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
