Archer County, TX (October 10, 2023) On Monday morning, 3 teens died and a 17-year-old driver was hospitalized after a solo-car crash on Highway 277.

According to DPS, the fatal solo-vehicle crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on US Highway 277.

Reports say that a Chevrolet Camaro, driven by a 17-year-old driver, was speeding through the highway when it’s driver failed to negotiate a curve and slid off the road. The vehicle struck a culvert, then rolled over.

Officials say that none of the occupants were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. The driver suffered incapacitating injuries and was taken to United Regional.
