SHERMAN OAKS, CA (April 30, 2023) – Saturday night, a tragic small plane crash on Beverly Glen Circle near Mulholland Drive.

Responders found the single-engine aircraft on a hillside about the 3000 block of Beverly Glen Circle at about 11:00 p.m. Then, they located a deceased person.

Also, officers said that no one else was aboard the aircraft.

Officers revealed that the aircraft traveled from Santa Monica to Van Nuys Airport. Then, it lost contact with air traffic control at about 8 p.m.

Federal Aviation Administration air traffic controllers at Van Nuys Airport, Burbank Airport, and Los Angeles International Airport, as well as the United States Air Force and the pilot’s cellular telephone carrier all helped in finding the aircraft.

Moreover, the coroner responded to the scene shortly before midnight.
