2 People Dead in Los Angeles Auto Accident on Olive Street near 30th Street East

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 15, 2024) – Monday afternoon, a tragic single-vehicle crash on Olive Street near 30th Street East killed two people.

The incident happened at around 2:08 p.m. on Olive Street, west of 30th Street East. 

According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, a 2005 Nissan Altima that was traveling at a high rate of speed, lost control and struck a tree.

Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of the vehicle, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics rushed a passenger of the vehicle to a local hospital where the patient was later pronounced dead. 

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the authorities ask anyone with details about the crash to call the Palmdale Station’s Traffic Department at 661-272-2400.
