HOUSTON, TX (June 27, 2023) – Monday morning, a tragic single-vehicle crash on 14200 Briar Forest Drive killed one person.

The incident happened at around 11:50 a.m. in the 14200 block of Briar Forest Drive.

According to the Houston Police Department, a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed lost control for still unknown reasons and crashed in the grassy median of Brian Forest Drive.

Moreover, paramedics airlifted two people to a hospital where the driver was later pronounced dead. Also, one of the occupants of the vehicle sustained a severe leg injury in the crash while two more occupants of the vehicle were unhurt in the incident.

Furthermore, officers believe that excessive speed played a major role in the crash.
