3 People Dead in Winslow Auto Accident on Interstate 40 near Winslow

WINSLOW, AZ (April 4, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a tragic rollover crash on Interstate 40 near Winslow killed three people.

The incident happened at around 7:30 a.m. on Interstate 40 near Winslow.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a vehicle veered off the road and into the median for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle overcorrected, swerved, and rolled over multiple times. Also, the force of the crash ejected three occupants of the vehicle into the roadway.

Moreover, officers confirmed that a 4-month-old baby, a teenage boy, and a man, died in the crash.

Furthermore, the crash closed Interstate 40a but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Arizona Department of Public Safety continued to investigate the crash.
