SAN DIEGO, CA (May 22, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a tragic rollover crash on Interstate 15 near Deer Springs Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 6:35 a.m. on Interstate 15 near Deer Springs Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involved a pickup truck that rolled over for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of the vehicle, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported a passenger of the pickup to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed one northbound lane of Interstate 15.
